The St Andrew's Breast Clinic represents an association between St Andrew's Hospital, Dr Jones & Partners - a medical imaging practice - and a selection of Adelaide's leading surgeons. This multidisciplinary service provides specialist knowledge in the fields of breast imaging, diagnosis and treatment - all from the same location.
The clinic’s objective is straightforward: we aim to attend to a patient’s medical needs in the shortest possible time with the specialist knowledge of South Australia’s best surgeons and radiologists.
Some patients can be apprehensive about the procedures or their results. The Breast Clinic’s medical team will do their utmost to minimise any discomfort and provides a specialist breast nurse to offer counselling if required.
It should be noted, that every woman will be provided with the results of her assessment and any treatment recommendations before she leaves the clinic.
The Breast Clinic is located in a private area adjacent to the main hospital entrance and presents a comprehensive range of medical imaging facilities including: stereotactic mammography, high-resolution ultrasound, C.T., nuclear medicine and M.R.I. technology.
