Harmony Week is the celebration that recognises our diversity and brings together Australians from all different backgrounds. It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.

Today, we come together to celebrate Harmony Day, a reminder of the diversity that enriches our communities and workplaces. It's a day to embrace our differences, foster understanding, and promote inclusivity in everything we do.

We have 127 staff who were born in a country other than Australia which is 15% of our team.  We have 39 different countries represented, and we speak 20 languages. At St Andrew’s Hospital, we believe that diversity is our strength. By embracing a multitude of perspectives, backgrounds, and cultures, we cultivate an environment where innovation thrives and collaboration flourishes.

Let's take this opportunity to reflect on the importance of respect, empathy, and unity. Together, we can create a world where everyone feels valued and respected for who they are.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to stop by, and thank you to all our wonderful team members for all the great work they do.
