Often in hospital issues arise that we would find helpful to talk through with someone.  In a diverse range of areas Pastoral Visitors and Chaplains can provide support, a listening ear and help with decision making.  Chaplains are willing upon request to administer sacraments, pray and provide other appropriate services.

An in-house video service enables patients to participate in a reflective service from their own room on Sunday mornings.

For patients from faiths other than Christian we are able to make contact with relevant carers and meet dietary requirements upon request.

Chaplains are frequently visiting on the wards daily but should you particularly wish to see someone they may be accessed by asking the nursing staff.

St Andrew's Hospital Chapel was originally the coach house for Waverley House which stands in the south east corner of the hospital grounds. It was constructed circa 1876 and converted to a Chapel in 1989.

The Chapel is available for your use between 7am and 6.30pm every day, and is accessed via a corridor near the lifts in the hospital foyer. It is a place of quiet and peace.
