A Year Shaped by People, Purpose and Care

In 2024–25, St Andrew’s Hospital continued to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred care during a year filled with many challenges in the private healthcare sector.

Our teams achieved strong accreditation outcomes, maintained high patient satisfaction (92% of patients reporting they were satisfied or very satisfied), and were recognised at the South Australian Nursing and Midwifery Awards. We also welcomed a new cohort of graduate nurses and introduced advanced surgical technologies, including the Mako SmartRobotics system for orthopaedics.

Despite the sector challenges of funding pressures, rising costs, and workforce shortages, our teams remained focused on patient safety, professional development, and innovation. Volunteers contributed over 15,000 hours, and the St Andrew’s Hospital Foundation continued to support equipment, scholarships, and community engagement.
