On Wednesday 12 January 2022 South Australia’s first ever dedicated booster vaccination clinic opened safely and was met with significant positive feedback from SA Health and South Australians.

The clinic is an unprecedented partnership between SA Health, St Andrew's Hospital, Western Hospital, SportsMed, Burnside Hospital, Stirling Hospital and Glenelg Community Hospital.

The clinic is available to anyone 18+ who has had their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine at least 4 months ago.

St Andrew’s Nurses, as well as our recently employed Graduate Nurses, are preparing and administering vaccinations at the clinic which operates 7 days a week. The clinic is expected to initially vaccinate 9,000 people a week, increasing to 15,000 in the weeks to come.
