Our programs are crafted to offer emotional, practical, and social support for those undergoing treatment and their caregivers. From gentle workshops to cozy spaces where you can simply unwind, we’re here to make your journey a little easier.

Programs are accessible if you have a Wellbeing Centre Membership, and membership at the moment is by invitation as we work through our soft opening.

December 2024

Sound Nest - Small Group Meditation
2 December 2024, 2pm-4pm
Just as it sounds, you will be tucked under a rug on your own soft meditation mattress, cocooned in a safe, comfy nest while you are surrounded by the healing tones and vibrations of music, Tibetan singing bowls, chimes, and other instruments. In this nurturing container, you'll be able to 'tune out,' restore, and gently let go. This intimate group experience is designed to ease stress and help you to re-calibrate your nervous system. Kyrie creates a genuine space that helps you break free from the barriers preventing you from truly 'switching off.' Your nervous system will find the rest it craves, and you'll carry this sense of peace and calm with you for days to follow.

Look Good, Feel Better

Look Good Feel Better is a national cancer-support program. Their workshops are designed to help with managing the physical, psychological and social impacts of cancer treatment. They are open to all Australians undergoing any type of treatment for any type of cancer. We are thrilled to host their program in the Wellbeing Centre. Registration for this program is via their website. 

Space to Be

The Wellbeing Space is your space to be, and this the perfect opportunity to unwind in a peaceful space made just for you. All are welcome to drop-in for light refreshments, freshly baked cookies from our kitchen, and a selection of cool and warm beverages. Bring along a favourite book, settle into a comfy spot  overlooking the parklands, or try  out one of our massage chairs. Enjoy puzzles, catch up with friends, or simply savour a quiet moment to yourself. Family and friends are welcome to join you. 

Find Your Calm: A Guided Meditation
10 December 2024, 11am-1pm
Meditation is becoming increasingly popular as people recognize its positive impact on overall health. Join us for a relaxing and rejuvenating meditation tailored for our members. This experience invites you to explore meditation as a way to gently train your mind, helping you focus and guide your thoughts. Whether you’re new to meditation or have experience, this session offers a supportive and compassionate environment to explore tools for relaxation and self-care.

Festive Workshop 
12 December 2024, 2pm-4pm
Join us for a cozy workshop where you’ll design a beautiful Christmas wreath or tablescape using a vessel-based floral centrepiece. Learn the art of stem placement and sustainable techniques to create a natural, garden-inspired arrangement for your holiday table. At the end of the session, you’ll take home your unique creation and the know-how to keep crafting with confidence!

Join us for a friendly and informal chat with our in-house physio team to learn and ask questions about how exercise can support your wellbeing throughout cancer treatment and recovery.

Tending to your Kindred Self
17 January 2025, 10am-12pm 
Self-care starts here! Join Kyrie Kohlhagen, counsellor and aromatherapist, for a nurturing workshop where you’ll reconnect with yourself, discover joy, create with intention, and learn simple mindfulness practices. In this workshop series, Kyrie will share her knowledge of essential oils and the benefits of creating a sacred space. You’ll learn what a sacred space is and why it’s important, as well as how essential oils can support your wellbeing.
