Last week, we had the delight of welcoming our smallest and dearest neighbours, the children from Halifax St Children's Centre and Preschool.

These young visitors, who have been part of our extended community for many years, brought something truly special with them on this visit—a collection of artworks inspired by their reflections on our gardens.

These beautiful creations have been generously gifted to St Andrew’s and will soon find a permanent home in our coffee and gift shop, where they can be admired by patients, visitors, and staff alike.

Looking ahead, the Foundation is exploring ways to enhance the Waverley House children’s garden, collaborating with the Secateurs, a dedicated volunteer gardening group, and leaders from Halifax Street. Together, we hope to create an even more welcoming and inspiring space for our young friends, with ideas ranging from a community grant to perhaps even a playful kangaroo statue.

This is just one example of the many meaningful community relationships that the Foundation fosters on behalf of St Andrew’s. It’s through these connections that we continue to build a place defined by kindness, collaboration, and inspiration.

Thank you to everyone who contributes to making St Andrew’s a truly special community.
